[00:00:00] Speaker A: Foreign. Okay. Are we recording right now? Hello. [00:00:15] Speaker B: Yes, we are. Welcome, welcome, welcome to Candidly 30. What's been your vibe lately? What's like, your musical go to's when you're, you know, tv tuning around on your tick tocks and stuff? [00:00:29] Speaker A: Oh, my gosh. The one I had on there today was because it was like, the prompt was like something along the lines of getting through, like, daylight savings or whatever. And I did the, like, you gotta be bad, you gotta be bold, you gotta be wise. [00:00:46] Speaker B: Oh, my God, yes. [00:00:47] Speaker A: So that song has been stuck in my head all day this morning. [00:00:52] Speaker B: Anyways, who sings that song? [00:00:53] Speaker A: That's a good one, right? That one will, like, never die. Do you know that song or are you just pretending her name's Desiree? [00:01:00] Speaker B: Nope. I mean, I definitely know that song. I just was, like, trying to Google it super fast before you called me out for not knowing who it was. But that's awesome. I know that song. But I did know that it was Desiree. [00:01:15] Speaker A: What song has been stuck in your head all day? [00:01:17] Speaker B: So, actually, this last week, I feel like I've been listening to this song called Folded by Kehlani. It's like, oh, God, I don't even want to sing it because it's such a slow, like, R B kind of song that I'm gonna sound like a dork. But it's very mellow and super rainy and gross outside, so I've just been feeling a little, like. I don't know. It's a good song. It's not like something you, like, lose your craziness to, but it does feel. It stimulates the feels, for sure. I don't know. So that's what's been going on. Although I haven't. [00:01:50] Speaker A: That's sweet. [00:01:51] Speaker B: Really been going places because it is freaking cold and dark and rainy. It's like proper November, like, weather. You know what I mean? How are you feeling there in Bend? [00:02:03] Speaker A: For sure here, too. It was raining this morning. It rained yesterday. It rained the day before that. And it's just so funny because I feel like the first three years that I lived here, like, it never rained, and then now it just like it. We have, like, a rainy season, which is wild on both ends on the fall and the spring, which is really nice. Like, I'm all for it. Like, don't get me wrong. Like, I need some rain before the snow comes. You know what I mean? So, yeah, I. I've been loving it. It was pretty wild to, like. With the time change also and it being so dark in the Morning and stuff now and hearing the rain, I was like oh my God, I just want to cuddle up. Like I set my alarm this morning to go to the gym cuz I was feeling really ambitious and I was gonna go get Yachty dog from Kevin and Lindsay's house cuz they are supposed to Puerto Rico today but their flight got delayed so I didn't go get him. But Yeah, I know, just kidding. I mean federal employees, like you know, air traffic control, everything, like all flights are delayed. Everything is getting crazy. So anyways, yeah, really sad about their flight being delayed, but it's okay, It'll be, it'll be all right. But yeah, I was gonna go to the gym this morning. I set my alarm for like 5:15 to go to a 5:45 like hit class because I haven't been to one of those at the gym that I go to and I snoozed my alarm all the way until 7:30, which is so unlike me. Like I am like a, an alarm go or offer and like I get up and I go, you know, but like no way, no way in hell I was feeling. Also though I did get my flu shot yesterday, which also. Who is she? I've never had a flu shot ever in my whole entire life. What? And so I think never had a flu shot before. [00:03:48] Speaker B: Kelly. [00:03:49] Speaker A: Who are you dumpy today? No, I know, I just like don't really believe in the flu shot for some reason which makes no sense because I, I am pro vaccine. Like don't get me wrong, like I am 100 in the vaccine game just before anybody has everything. I'm just like, yeah, exactly. But just, I've just like never been into the flu. Flu vaccine. I don't really understand it. But anyways, like I think that I'm like very positive that I had Covid like over the summer or like two months ago or whatever. So she's like, yeah, you still have antibodies. So like you shouldn't get your COVID vaccine right now. So just get your flu. Because I had my like wellness exam yesterday which was great also because like I was freaking out a little bit about it. Some of my, I don't know, I just thought that something was wrong with me because there's always something wrong with me. But you know, just your girl's a hypochondri react. So there we go. End all be all. I did like talk to her just like about my labs and I got a bunch of lab work done because I was like, I think there's something wrong with My thyroid, because there's no way that I am this cold all the time and I'm gaining weight and I'm not doing anything. Nothing is crazy. Nothing is different. Nothing is happening. And she's just like, no, you're just normal. I'm like, okay, well, what the heck is going on anyways? I'm just frustrated, so. But apparently all of my blood work came back with. With flying colors. Chef's kiss. [00:05:20] Speaker B: Yay. [00:05:21] Speaker A: Yeah. She's like, you are in, like, peak health. Like, you. All of your numbers are like, yay. And I'm like, okay, well, cool. [00:05:31] Speaker B: That means I feel like you should get some snaps. [00:05:34] Speaker A: Gaining weight for no reason. [00:05:38] Speaker B: I'm sorry about that. I think it stops for that. [00:05:40] Speaker A: But purely having a boyfriend, I think that's the real talk here. [00:05:45] Speaker B: But awesome. Anyway, so, yeah, it's so easy to just, like, curl up and get cozy on the couch, then, like, go and do anything, because that sounds terrible. I got invited to two Halloween parties, and I didn't go to either of them because I'm such a grandma and I'm kind of upset about it. [00:06:01] Speaker A: Wait, on the last episode, you said that you were upset that no one was having a Halloween party. When did all these Halloween parties pop up? [00:06:07] Speaker B: They literally popped up, like, the day before Halloween. I got two people texting me, being like, hey, we're gonna have a Halloween party kind of last minute. Why don't you show up? So. So, of course, like, at that point, it's. It was literally dark at, like, 3:00' clock in the afternoon, and it was buckets of rain. These poor kids were just sopping wet. It was not a good look. So I decided to stay home. [00:06:30] Speaker A: That's so sad. [00:06:32] Speaker B: I know. But my birthday's coming up very soon. I'm flying to San Francisco. I figured I'll, you know, I'll live it up then. Yes. Yeah. I'm really excited. I'm, like, ready to get this week. [00:06:44] Speaker A: Yeah. Tell us your plan for what you're doing when you get there. [00:06:48] Speaker B: Okay. So it's been okay. That's not true. I went to San Francisco and I drove through the city in, like, April or May with my mom on that road trip. That was an experience. End of sentence. So the first thing I'm going to do is find sfo. We're staying in Burlingame, so it's all, like, South San Francisco things, so definitely going to the beach. I'm gonna. Amanda's gonna come up for, like, Friday, and we're gonna do probably some shopping. Vintage Shopping. We're gonna go just, like, check out all the cool spots in South San Francisco. Maybe do Half Moon Bay. I feel like that would be a really fun spot. Or, like, Pacifica for a dinner and a drink. Wouldn't that be fun? Half Moon Bay would be so cute. [00:07:37] Speaker A: Really fun. [00:07:38] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:07:38] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:07:39] Speaker B: So cool. Little shopping. [00:07:40] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:07:40] Speaker B: A couple cocktails. It's a girl weekend. My mom and S. Kubla Khan. So that's that big conference that is all board games all day long, forever and always. Like, this is the convention center for board games. [00:07:54] Speaker A: No. [00:07:55] Speaker B: Yeah. This is, like, the thing that they're gonna do, so. [00:07:57] Speaker A: Oh, funny. I've always wanted to go to it since your sister told me. [00:08:02] Speaker B: Right, right. This is, like, her third or fourth time going, I think. I don't know. So they got. They got plans. I don't feel like I have to host them, which is so nice. Like, they're usually really easy, but I also am just excited to, like, bop around and uber about and hang out with Amanda, so that'll be great. [00:08:19] Speaker A: Cool. That's amazing. Good. I'm glad you're going. And you coming home on your actual birthday? [00:08:27] Speaker B: No, I am leaving on the 13th, and I'm coming back the 17th, so. My birthday, 10th. I don't know if maybe I should not have said that. [00:08:35] Speaker A: Oh, my gosh. Wait, I thought you're gonna be gone for your actual birthday. [00:08:38] Speaker B: I think I will be working. [00:08:39] Speaker A: Oh, no, don't say that. That makes me so sad. [00:08:43] Speaker B: No, I'll be there. [00:08:44] Speaker A: Okay. [00:08:44] Speaker B: I'll be here. [00:08:45] Speaker A: No, it is okay. Being in your 30s, I get. [00:08:48] Speaker B: Are you getting the 11th off? We do have it off. [00:08:50] Speaker A: Yeah. Well, I don't know. I'm off right now, so I don't really know what's happening. Fair enough. [00:08:58] Speaker B: Fair enough. My bad, my bad, my bad. Yeah. Okay. Well, that's. I'm hoping that I get it off, but I don't know. [00:09:10] Speaker A: Okay. [00:09:10] Speaker B: I haven't figured that out yet, so I could just be working and then I'm gonna take off Thursday and Friday anyway, so I'll be fine. But 30 freaking 6. Shout out to the Scorpios. Happy Birthday, all my girls. But 30 freaking 6 is kind of like a. I don't know, an eye opener. But I feel like I'm pretty cool hanging out, hanging in there. Things are happening, and I'm not, like, totally destitute. [00:09:33] Speaker A: Stop. You are not great. [00:09:35] Speaker B: Very, very 36 is, like, what a weird way to say that. Why can't I say? [00:09:42] Speaker A: I mean, it's just I feel like it's just a weird thing. Like, I don't know, 35 is like, okay, I am like mid-30s, whatever, but 36 is like, I'm getting over the other side kind of. So, like, I feel you, but also you, like, we are doing great. We're doing so great. That's all I have to say. [00:10:03] Speaker B: I don't think that 40 is as daunting for it being only four years away. I feel like I can still do a lot in my 30s and now it just like puts a fire under my ass to get all the. That I need to get done. Done before I'm 40. I don't know. I'm not too mad at being 36. It's not my favorite number, but like, I don't know. [00:10:25] Speaker A: Yeah, no, that's amazing. [00:10:27] Speaker B: Not hating on it. [00:10:28] Speaker A: No, for sure. I mean, I really struggled with 35 and I think it was just like where I was at in so many things. Just. Yeah, life felt really weird and really strange at that time. So, yeah, 35 was rough, but I feel like 36 is gonna be great and I'm like, not that worried about it and like, it's coming quick. So, yeah, this year just like flew by. So this year was weird and I'm like, yeah, but like, 36 is gonna be great. [00:10:58] Speaker B: Can you believe it? Anyway, I was gonna say we were talking about it being like 36 is coming up or whatever, but can you believe we have made it somewhat through, like Trump's first freaking year in office is such a garbage fire hot disgustingness of bullshit that went down. [00:11:20] Speaker A: That is one way to say it. Yes. [00:11:21] Speaker B: We had a big blue wave that came through like today, yesterday and all the voting that when happened. [00:11:27] Speaker A: I know, know, yeah. Really, really crazy. I am so happy with everything that happened yesterday. [00:11:33] Speaker B: Me too. Me too. [00:11:34] Speaker A: Can you, can you even believe it? [00:11:36] Speaker B: No. I'm so excited. The first female, like, governor of Virginia. It's pretty big get for sure. The mayor of New York. I'm not going to butcher his name. We all know how to not pronounce it. And then there was like more referendums in California around the redistricting. Redistricting. Wow, that's a hard word, Redistricting. So, yeah, I mean, like, it was all good news. I think at the end of the day, that's a win for sure. [00:12:04] Speaker A: Yeah, absolutely. Yeah. What I was saying earlier is just like 2025 started out just like really rough and it turned around and it turned out to be really great for me. I had a great summer And I'm having a great fall. And yeah, it's just like wild. How cool. Crazy. Your life like shifts and adjusts when you have like a person in your life that helps with all those things and just helps with life in general. So a. It's nice. [00:12:34] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:12:35] Speaker A: Yeah. He just like replaced my headlights because one of my headlights burnt out last night. [00:12:39] Speaker B: Happy. [00:12:41] Speaker A: So yeah, just, you know, things like that. But he also put in. [00:12:45] Speaker B: That's so nice of him. [00:12:48] Speaker A: LEDs because he said that I couldn't see anything before and I don't know what he's talking about. So anyway, so yeah, now I'm gonna be that person on the right. [00:13:00] Speaker B: You're the person that has like crazy bright ass lights like your grandma's. [00:13:04] Speaker A: That's what I was like telling him. I was like, I don't want to be the person that everyone hates. I'm gonna be the person that everyone's flashing their lights at, like whatever. [00:13:14] Speaker B: I love it. All good. Dying. That's so funny. [00:13:20] Speaker A: And he put up the TV today. [00:13:22] Speaker B: Speaking of cars, because we have the same car. I've been shopping for new tires. [00:13:27] Speaker A: Yeah, okay. Costco, baby. [00:13:29] Speaker B: Just go to Costco. [00:13:30] Speaker A: That's a hundred percent Costco. [00:13:32] Speaker B: Does sound like a really good idea. Okay, I didn't even think about that. [00:13:36] Speaker A: Do it. Yeah. And you can like make an appointment online. You can order them online, they deliver them straight to the Costco Go. And then you just drop your car off and they put them on. It's the best. And they're actually like really, really well priced for. Yeah, I know. You want to get like all weather tires right this time. [00:13:58] Speaker B: Yeah. I was thinking the all weather tires. Something like a larger tread too. Just cuz my car is a little bigger than just a tiny little rv, so. Or a suv. Anyway, Costco sounds like an excellent idea. I'm definitely going to be buying that for myself for my birthday. And then I asked for for a new kitchen faucet, like the thing that goes whatever. The one that we have is from like 1977. So we need to replace that one. And I asked for my birthday. I am definitely a proponent of like practical gifts. I feel like you and I have that in common. Me too. [00:14:31] Speaker A: Yeah, for sure. I love a practical gift. Yeah. Remember like my parents got me a. A leaf blower for my birthday. Was it for my birthday this year? Yeah, I think it was for my birthday. [00:14:42] Speaker B: Totally. [00:14:43] Speaker A: So nice. It's helping so much right now because it's so freaking windy from all the rain and there's in Le. [00:14:53] Speaker B: Yeah. Everything is covered in like maybe an inch and a half of pine needles. Like, it's so bad. [00:14:59] Speaker A: So annoying. I hate that I've already ra so. [00:15:02] Speaker B: Much yard work to do on the weekend. Oh, my God. Yeah. So sorry. [00:15:09] Speaker A: I shouldn't have done it, but now it's a lot. [00:15:11] Speaker B: Being a homeowner is a lot. [00:15:13] Speaker A: I know. I just would have, like, been accumulating and been gross. Way more gross because it would have gotten all wet. So anyways, I'm happy that I did it before, but. Yeah, hopefully I just. I'm gonna wait till they all finally fall and then I'll do one last sweep through and. Yeah, that is 35 people. [00:15:30] Speaker B: Fair enough. [00:15:30] Speaker A: Just raking leaves. No big deal. [00:15:34] Speaker B: It's such a great decade. You started, like, just coming out of your 20s and then by the end of it you're like, wow, I gotta do yard work. [00:15:41] Speaker A: Yeah, seriously. Wait, what other updates do you have? Or can I talk about them? 30s are wild that we just watched. [00:15:50] Speaker B: Oh, let's talk about a movie. Because I have been watching some television that I would also like to talk about. [00:15:56] Speaker A: Yeah, okay. So we watched this movie on Amazon. It's called Deep Water and it just came out 2025. It has Woody Harrelson in it. It's actually really good. It's a true story. It is kind of intense. Like, it is kind of like heart palpitating, you know what I mean? Because, like there's. The stakes are like really high. But it's about these deep water divers and they go and like repair like the oil lines underwater, like very, very deep underwater. So they have to like, put them in. And they put them in these like little tubes basically, and they like pressurize them so that their bodies get used to going that deep underwater. And so they're like pressurized for like a couple days and then they're able to like drop them down or whatever. And it's like a true story. I just. I can't get over the fact that it's a true story, but one of the divers, like, gets lost and it's so crazy. So, yeah, I don't want to spoil it because it's wild, but it's a actually like really good movie. I don't, you know, I don't like movies like that. [00:17:02] Speaker B: Fair enough. [00:17:03] Speaker A: So I. If I'm saying it's a good movie, it's like actually a good movie. Okay, so this was highly recommend. It's on Amazon Prime, I'm pretty sure. [00:17:10] Speaker B: Do you have to pay for it? Or. [00:17:12] Speaker A: No, it was free. [00:17:12] Speaker B: Like, rent it or pay for it. Oh, okay. Nice. Okay. It's on my list, Deep Water. Except I am not writing and I don't have a pen, so. So I will try to commit that to memory and then text you later when I forget. So I've been wanting to get, like. I've been watching all of the British baking show. I'm trying to get, like, this witchy fall vibe. Everybody knows that I've committed to this, like, cottage whip witch thing. I've been watching all of the Little women again, and I've been really enjoying them. So I watched, like, the first two or three episodes of the most recent adaptation on Netflix with, like, Mia Hawke, I think her name is. Don't quote me on that. It's really cute and it's very perfect for this type of season. And I don't know if you like the story of little Women, but very much Civil War time frame, cute women who are like, screw the patriarchy bullshit happens. And I don't know, Joe's just, like, one of my favorite people. So, yeah, it was really cute and I'm enjoying it. [00:18:16] Speaker A: She's really sassy. I. I only saw the old one. I don't think I've seen any of the new. I knew that they came out with a new movie or is it a TV show? But I haven't seen it yet. It's actually decent. [00:18:27] Speaker B: It's a, like, series on Netflix, I think. Yeah. [00:18:30] Speaker A: Okay. That's what I thought. Yeah. [00:18:32] Speaker B: And then I watched the one that Hermione Granger did before this, but I haven't seen that one. But it's such a classic story. Right? You're just, like, watching the same thing happen, just different variations. [00:18:43] Speaker A: Okay, speaking of, you know the episode when Joey reads Little Women and Rachel reads his book or whatever? Oh, that's one of the best ones. The Shining things that. That Joe is a boy. So freaking funny now. [00:18:59] Speaker B: He thinks that. Yeah. And that Lori is a guy. He, like, doesn't understand how that. Yeah. [00:19:08] Speaker A: Exactly. So funny. Okay, sorry. Already, like, editors know. Oh, I'm so sorry. It is not called Deep Water. It is called Last Breath. My bad, my bad. That would be really hard to find if you don't even have the. [00:19:23] Speaker B: Oh, my God. [00:19:26] Speaker A: But there's so many. [00:19:27] Speaker B: Other movies called Water that's Like it and. [00:19:31] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, not that one. Not that one. So sorry. Jesus. Okay. Last breath. Anyways, sorry, everyone. I had to look it up because I feel like that sounds wrong. Why does that sound so wrong? So Editor's note might be Editor's Note. [00:19:51] Speaker B: With Woody Harrelson. Okay, yeah, this looks right because I saw Ben Affleck. But I wasn't gonna call you out on it because I'm a nice person. I was on Instagram the other day and I was just like flipping through stuff and there was this huge thread about kill Barry, have sex with. Right, okay. Or kiss, kiss, kiss Mary, kill. [00:20:11] Speaker A: Okay, it's Mary, kill. [00:20:14] Speaker B: And it's like Joey, Chandler and Ross. Whatever. I don't. Come on now. [00:20:20] Speaker A: Okay, whatever. [00:20:21] Speaker B: Anyway, who would you kiss? Mary, kill Joey, Chandler, Ross. And I have to tell you about the comments that are in when you hear about it. [00:20:31] Speaker A: Okay, so question though. Am I actually like dating them or is it just like being around, like being friends with them? Because that would change my answers. [00:20:41] Speaker B: Okay, so you have to kill somebody, you have to kiss somebody, and then you have to marry someone. So like hanging around all of them is inevitable. But which one are you gonna dedicate to that? [00:20:54] Speaker A: Okay, well, this is what, this is. What I'm gonna say is that I would probably, we're gonna take this real serious. I would probably kiss Ross and kill Joey if it was actually like, like being in a relationship with them. But I would probably marry Chandler and I would kiss Joey and kill Ross if it was like I had to be in a relationship with them. You know what I mean? [00:21:20] Speaker B: Okay, okay, okay. I think it was not exclusive to a relationship. This is just like a one time opportunity kiss. I am gonna go ahead and just make that executive decision on behalf of the person who posted it on Instagram. Well, definitely kiss Joey because like, okay, that is 99 of the time what those people on Instagram, like 20,000 people said or something that they would marry Chandler, kiss Joey and kill Ross. And then in the comments, it's like all of these memes or gifts of Ross and all of his shenanigans, like, I'm fine or I don't, you know, we were on a break or whatever. It's so funny. I read that at like 4 o' clock in the morning last night when I couldn't sleep and I was trying so hard not to wake up my partner and just like giggle to myself. And I, I think it's hilarious. [00:22:09] Speaker A: That's amazing. What would you have said? Would you have said the same thing? [00:22:12] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, definitely. I mean, I kind of like the idea of marrying Joey just because he's so fun. Right? Like, he would be somebody I'd have to take care of, but also, like, it would be so fun to be married to Joey. He's like a soap opera star. There's, like, so much, like, good stuff about him. But no, I would definitely probably marry Chandler because he's my fave and I feel bad for Ross. Slash, I don't feel bad for Ross, but, like. But I would probably kill him. [00:22:37] Speaker A: I think that. I mean, that's the thing is that, like, I think Ross is so funny, but in the context of, like, being his friend, like, I would never, ever want to be in a relationship with. With Ross. I could be in a relationship with Joey or Chandler. But, like, Ross I just think is so absurd and fun. But he is very funny. Like, I still think Chandler is the funniest, but I do think Ross makes me laugh. Probably in more episodes than not. You know what I mean? [00:23:04] Speaker B: Okay, I hear you. I'm gonna, like, expand on this scenario, and you tell me if this, like, encapsulates your entire. Right, okay, so you're marrying Chandler, right? You're gonna, like, I don't know, meet up with Joey, become friends with him, give him a little check, you know, kiss on the lips. And then you meet Chandler and you, like, get married to Chandler. And then you're gonna have, like, Ross in your life forever and ever. And then when you're really old, that's when you decide to kill him. So you can still enjoy him and his life and his shenanigans, but you're not married to him, you're not dating him, and you can wait to kill him because it doesn't stipulate win. Right. This is our, like, fantasy scenario. So that's what we're gonna. That's what we're gonna go with. [00:23:47] Speaker A: Sorry. Sorry to, like, get in the weeds on that one. I just had to know it would be a little different. It might be a little different. You know what I mean? [00:23:56] Speaker B: Well, if we're, you know, this is gonna be the official statement from Kelly Kanese about, you know, kiss, marry, kill on friends. Let's be serious about it. [00:24:06] Speaker A: Yeah, very serious. The other thing I wanted to bring up was survivors season 49 has started. I know that I've said that before, but it's. It was a slow start. It was a little bit of a. Eek. A little bit of a not great. A little bit of a confusing at the beginning, but I don't know why. I think all the characters, characters, actors, players, whatever, I don't know what they're called. Survivors. They are just not great. And I don't think that the editing on them Is that great this season either they. Yeah, it's just funny. So anyways, we just like started getting into it last episode, which is episode five. So now I'm like, kind of excited to, like, watch it. But if you haven't started, you should still start. [00:24:51] Speaker B: Do you feel like they're phoning it in? [00:24:53] Speaker A: I mean, a little bit. Like, I do feel like it's kind of more like scripted now. Not scripted. That's not the right word. I do think they're being like, genuinely themselves, but I do think that there's a lot more, like, how many episodes are there, like the directors and stuff than in years past, you know, because they were. It used to be like wild and out. Like, they used to just be like yapping and like going crazy. Now they're all like, kumbaya. Like, we're all friends here. And like, I'm like, this is a million dollars. Like, this is Survivor. First of all, we need to talk about that because why is it still a million dollars and the show's been on for 25 years. A million dollars does not hit the same since all this inflation. So anyways, that's like besides the point. Yeah, but they need to raise that for show. But yeah, it's just like a silly. A silly, interesting situation now. [00:25:43] Speaker B: No, yeah, they need to cost a living and adjustment for sure. [00:25:49] Speaker A: So that's the other thing that I've been watching. It has not been super exciting. Yeah. I can't really report. [00:25:56] Speaker B: What should we like, tell Jeff Probst? Like, you should be at 5 million or 25 million. I feel like 25 million hits the same. Like if we were to tell Jeff, okay, you need to raise it from 1 million to X, what would X be? I think it should be 25. [00:26:10] Speaker A: 25 million, kind of. [00:26:11] Speaker B: I know that that's insane. That's not like, because actual inflation. [00:26:15] Speaker A: But I mean, it sounds good. [00:26:18] Speaker B: I'd go on survivors for $25 million. [00:26:20] Speaker A: Like, that might not even be enough inflation, honestly. [00:26:23] Speaker B: But it's not like they can't afford it. [00:26:25] Speaker A: They have. [00:26:26] Speaker B: Yeah, at least 10 for sure. [00:26:28] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, absolutely. It's just the taxes on that much of money too. Maybe people don't really want to see spend. They're like pay all those taxes, you know, like, that's where it really comes down to is like that money goes quick. [00:26:42] Speaker B: Well, there's no reason to raise it because people keep volunteering for it and people keep watching. [00:26:48] Speaker A: That's fair. That's fair. But also, when do you hit the point of when you don't have to pay your taxes anymore like all these billionaires. When does that happen? What point? How many millions do you need in order for that to happen? Just wondering. [00:27:08] Speaker B: I'm sorry, that's a really. Are you looking for an actual answer? Because, like, I can't answer that for you. [00:27:15] Speaker A: Just like inquiring minds, you know what I mean? [00:27:18] Speaker B: I'd say we could probably get away with not paying taxes when we had, I don't know, $110 million to spend on, I don't know, nonsensical lobbying and backward ass property seizure and like that. [00:27:37] Speaker A: I don't know. All right, well, that's my goal. [00:27:39] Speaker B: You'd have to get a corporation in place. You'd have to figure out how to like, scoot the tax law. [00:27:44] Speaker A: That's what I'm gonna. [00:27:45] Speaker B: Okay. Glad that we went public on our podcast with our plan to get too much money to skirt the law. [00:27:50] Speaker A: Yes. I mean, honestly, is that everyone's goal? [00:27:53] Speaker B: Oh, God, we're so genius. [00:27:55] Speaker A: Isn't that the whole world's goal? To be quite honest, that's my 2026 tick tock goal. So you watch out. Actually, on TikTok, guess what? Okay, well, first of all, my Tik Tok account has been exploding. Not really. I mean, it's been kind of fun actually lately, because I've been getting like a ton of traction. I got like 22,000 views on one video. Is that crazy? Did you see it? It's. It's the one of me and Myla. [00:28:27] Speaker B: Yeah. Which I was about to ask. What video shoot? My bad. Yeah, that's when you're on the couch. [00:28:33] Speaker A: Yeah. Anyway, crazy. And yeah, there's like 1300 like, likes or whatever. Anyways, you need a hundred thousand views in 30 days in order to get into the creator rewards program. And so that just video just like shot me like right up up there for to get into the creator rewards program. So I'm on my way anyway. Yeah. So anyways, if anybody wants to join Tick Tock, just go. Give me a little, like a little follow. Go watch all my videos on repeat. That would be really lovely. That would help so much. Yeah, Kayla, maybe I should just like sign into your account and just watch all my videos. [00:29:12] Speaker B: She's sick of my. [00:29:14] Speaker A: How many does it say now? [00:29:18] Speaker B: They love it. Yeah, it says that you have how many likes? 3,000, 743, 000. [00:29:25] Speaker A: Oh, I thought it was 1,000. Wow. Okay, that's. That's pretty good. That's pretty good. Not gonna lie. [00:29:32] Speaker B: Anyways, yash and 2020 comments. That's not bad. [00:29:36] Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah, pretty fun. Anyway, so if you guys want to follow me on Tick Tock, that'd be great. [00:29:42] Speaker B: If you want to log into my Tick Tock, you are welcome to. I have been thinking so, like my birthday's next week or whatever and I'm like trying to find things that I want to do for myself. Like I'm gonna go get Botox. I'm just gonna tell everybody I don't really care. [00:29:59] Speaker A: Nice. [00:30:01] Speaker B: And then I'm also gonna do this project and I am going to talk to you about it offline because I want to talk to you about it on the pod, but. [00:30:12] Speaker A: Okay, do it later. [00:30:14] Speaker B: And then I'm doing like, I've got trips that I'm planning for my birthday next year. I've got like different certifications and licensing that I'm doing. Like, I've just got so much things that I'm investing in myself. So I feel like 36 is gonna be not so much spending because I need to like save my money and like that, but like things that I can invest to make myself a better person is my goal. For 33, for 36. [00:30:41] Speaker A: And you know your girls love and even you. [00:30:43] Speaker B: But I am excited to talk to you about this project. Don't let me get off the phone. [00:30:47] Speaker A: Without talking to you guys. I'm stoked. I want to hear about it. [00:30:50] Speaker B: Also an even year. [00:30:51] Speaker A: Yeah, we love 100 years, but part. [00:30:54] Speaker B: Of it is like tick tocking, getting Instagram content up there and like trying to be a little bit more sharing of my life on a day to day basis. So yeah, we're gonna manifest that a little bit. [00:31:04] Speaker A: Just a little teaser for you. [00:31:06] Speaker B: 2026 is your. [00:31:07] Speaker A: It's coming up for New Year's, season four. [00:31:11] Speaker B: Dude, I actually don't have wine. [00:31:16] Speaker A: Let's do something fun for New Year's. [00:31:18] Speaker B: I got nothing. Got nothing planned. [00:31:21] Speaker A: Yeah, I feel like everyone's going, I like that idea. Different directions. So shoot. [00:31:25] Speaker B: We have like a whole offline conversation anyways. [00:31:29] Speaker A: Do you have any other updates for the pod? Hopefully everyone liked our silly little Halloween game. Crazy that it's November 5th. Like, how did we get here, everybody? This is insane. [00:31:40] Speaker B: I know. [00:31:41] Speaker A: Happy fallback. Happy. [00:31:42] Speaker B: It feels like it was September yesterday. Just feel like I don't have a whole lot of updates on my end. I've just gotta move my plants inside and it's getting chilly out there. I'm really excited for the weather to turn and I'm not gonna hate on the snow, because I'm not going anywhere. So I'm just gonna sit in my house and have a fire and watch my baking shows. It's gonna be great. [00:32:05] Speaker A: Awesome. [00:32:06] Speaker B: I'm not a grandma. [00:32:07] Speaker A: No, that sounds great. Yeah. Everybody cave is taking a very important test on Friday, so send her all the good vibes. All the good juz. Actually, by the time you hear this, she would have already taken it, and she's already gonna pass, so don't even worry about it. So no big deal. [00:32:22] Speaker B: Well, send me your zhuj anyway. I could use all the good vibes I can get. [00:32:28] Speaker A: Lindsay texted me last night because we were driving both at the same time, and she was like, go to kpov, which is like, the local radio station. She was like, the astrologer is on or whatever. Like the person, you know, giving. What's it called? Oh, my God. Horoscopes. That's what it's called. And I, like, was listening. She is aggressive. It's like a half an hour of just like, Sagittarius is telling us we need to relax and we need to slow down and it's like new beginnings and blah, blah, blah. So just like, embrace, like, the calm and the mercury. Mercury's in a lot of retrogrades right now, so just, like, watch out for that. Just, like, be careful. That's all that I gathered from that half an hour long, a lady being like. [00:33:16] Speaker B: It's like the yoga instructor who's, like, just very. Yeah. Breathy. [00:33:24] Speaker A: Yeah, absolutely. [00:33:28] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:33:28] Speaker A: No, you know how they talk on, like, late night radio and, you know, we're just gonna move into the next phase of our lives or even like, when they read traffic, they're like, this is. And late night traffic is. Yeah, yeah. That's where I was going with that. Any. [00:33:48] Speaker B: Oh, my God. I kind of love that. [00:33:53] Speaker A: Yeah, that's all I got. Guys, do you want to do some gratitude? [00:33:57] Speaker B: I have a serious question for you. Yeah, let's do a serious question for you just really fast, and then we'll move into gratitudes and grievances. So I've just been, like, watching your video non stop for the last, like, two or three minutes. Like, I haven't touched my phone. Do you get credit for every time that it watches again? [00:34:15] Speaker A: Huh? Yes. Yes, I do. So if you just play me on repeat. [00:34:19] Speaker B: Perfect. Well, you're welcome. [00:34:20] Speaker A: So helpful if you're ever bored. Thank you so, so much. Yeah, very serious question. So if you want to, like, go to one of my pin videos at the top, but anything that I have just posted. It's great as well. But yeah, you could just watch them on repeat and that would help me so much because, yeah, I really need them views so I can get to a hundred thousand. So I can get Tick Tock paid, baby. That is the plan. [00:34:45] Speaker B: Oh, that is planning it. I just shared it on my thing on Tick Tock. I don't even know. Maybe we should do like a Tick Tock tutorial for me. That might be a good idea. [00:34:56] Speaker A: Okay, yeah, yeah. If we can get there and then we put the podcast on there. If we can get our little videos on there. That's still my plan. That was my plan for 2025, but, you know, we've kind of fell off of that. You know, guys, someday we'll be on TikTok. You'll just see little clippets of us being stupid. [00:35:21] Speaker B: I thought. Never mind. I'm not gonna say that. Anyway, let's move to gratitudes and grievances. Do you have a gratitude or should we start with grievances first? Do you have a grievance? [00:35:28] Speaker A: Yeah, let's. Let's start with grievances. Grievance on my end is just like those life tasks. I guess it's nice. Like I was saying, when you have someone that can help you with, like, those stupid life tasks that you just, like, hate so much, like changing your headlights or getting your oil changed. I mean, why are they all car related? Okay, what about just, like, going to the doctor and, like, getting your blood work done? Like, stupid stuff like that that are just, like, such inconveniences, but, like, they're such important, like, things to do, you know? [00:36:02] Speaker B: That's just. [00:36:03] Speaker A: That was it. That's just been like my whole last, like, two weeks. Honestly, like, since coming back from a road trip is just like, getting all these, like, tiny little things done, but also you're supposed to, like, live your life, but also you're supposed to, like, take care of yourself and, like, eat healthy and all these other things. It just feels impossible. So anyways, that's just the. The dealing is that no one makes anything easier to. Everything just seems to be really freaking hard. Like, I don't know what kind of stupid headlights to get for my car. So that's what boys are for. You know what I mean? Like, anyway. [00:36:37] Speaker B: Yeah, that's all I can. Well, okay. Isn't that what AI was supposed to do is, like, make our life easier when it comes to these tiny little tasks and, like, automate things so that we don't have to think about it. But like, I don't know, AI is just like shooting up the dumbest memes and gifs and crap like that. Like it's such a really powerful tool that we have used to, you know, essentially write fart jokes. Just feels like we hopefully will get to the point where going into the dentist or like, I don't know, doing things or makes it so much easier. One day we'll have, we'll live in the smart house like in the Disney movie. Yeah, that's also one I haven't seen. [00:37:15] Speaker A: In a long time, only. Oh yeah, I haven't spent ages. Do you have anything you're grieved about or. [00:37:22] Speaker B: My grievance? Yeah, I guess my grievance this week to your point. I. This is such a dumb one, but maybe I can think of a better one. [00:37:36] Speaker A: No, I can't. [00:37:38] Speaker B: I just like haven't been eating very healthy. Slash I'm just not eating a lot lately, which is fine. Like I'm not dying or nor am I without food, but I can't seem to get motivated to care about the type of food that I'm like ingesting. So I don't know, maybe I need to get like a different recipe or if I just need to like get into a different style of cooking. Something. Yeah, I'm just like not really motivated or inspired. Maybe that's what it is. It could be just like the weather changing and my body being weird, but I don't know, I just feel like I'm ready for the inspiration and passion back in my life. So I guess I'm grieved that it's. [00:38:19] Speaker A: I really go through phases like that as well and just like I only want to eat out and I only want to eat like I cannot eat anything at home. There's like that weird. I go through that phase like every couple months or something. And yeah, it does pass. And then sometimes it feels really good to be healthy. Like we were traveling for so much that it just felt so good to like come home and like make home cooked meals, you know? So maybe you just need to switch up your routine or something and then something will sound good or different or I don't know, it's a good idea. [00:38:50] Speaker B: And I'm going to be doing a ton of baking and cooking for the holidays. So like right now I'm studying and trying to like work and do all that crap. And then we're not going anywhere for the whole week of Thanksgiving. So I'm going to have basically six days of stuff to get done So I do want to do another source. Like Christmas. Yeah, I'm gonna. Well, I don't have the whole week off, but, like, we're gonna work from home and kind of take it easy that week, so. Oh, cool. Not that I plan on taking it easy, but. No, we're just not going anywhere. So we don't expect to, like, I don't know, be really busy that week. But I do want to do a sourdough starter. You should do one too, and then we'll, like, swap. [00:39:34] Speaker A: Yeah, I would love to. Honestly, I just. Man, it's just so much work. I, I. But once you get it going, I know it's super easy to maintain. But yeah, I would have to just like. Yeah, I would. I need a little bit of, like, support. A support in that. Yeah. Like, I would need boyfriend to be all hands on deck as well, because I just, like, get bored by stuff like that really quick. So I need someone to like, motivate me to want to keep. Keep going and making it good, you know? [00:40:02] Speaker B: Do you think he would do like a project like that? Because that might be fun to like, bond with him if he wants to do something like that. But also that might be a lame project. [00:40:12] Speaker A: Yeah, for sure. [00:40:13] Speaker B: Into it. [00:40:16] Speaker A: No, we've gotten, like, pretty good. Or like, he likes cooking a lot. I don't know if he likes baking that much, but yeah, I think he would be interested in like, the science of it and just like how cool it all is in general. But yeah, we, we do buy. Because I really like bread. That's the only kind of bread that I eat. And so he is on board with that. So I think it would be cool if we could just make our own. [00:40:39] Speaker B: I love. Isn't it like, it's something, it's. I don't know if this is a thing. You can, like, swap it out, your starters, like, take a scoop of mine and then scoop of yours and it, like, helps it. Right? Or is that not a thing you. [00:40:52] Speaker A: Can switch, like, because, like, microbiome makes a big difference. Yeah. Yeah, I think it might hurt it. [00:40:58] Speaker B: Yeah, I don't. But I'm not, I've not done that before. I'll do a little research and I'll look into it. [00:41:03] Speaker A: It would be fast. Who do we have? [00:41:05] Speaker B: That's a list we should call. [00:41:09] Speaker A: We could. We should each make one and have. And bake a loaf and have them side by side and do a taste test side by side and see if they taste different because you know how, like, the reason why it works. Is they're like pulling stuff from your environment and it like puts it into the. Into the goop. So yeah, that would be really interesting to see if we could actually tell the difference. [00:41:26] Speaker B: Totally. [00:41:26] Speaker A: That would be wild. [00:41:28] Speaker B: Shoot. Words. Yeah. Let's bake some bread. This. This like winter. I think that's a great idea. [00:41:34] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:41:35] Speaker B: And we can like make a science project out of it. Boyfriend finding these little homework things. [00:41:41] Speaker A: Yeah, he loves a project for sure. So yeah, like he got really into like mushroom forging. I mean, he's still into it. He got some mushroom forging yesterday. But yeah, once he gets into something like that, he gets like really in. So if he gets into it, it would be really fun to do it together. For sure. [00:42:01] Speaker B: Beautiful. [00:42:02] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:42:02] Speaker B: Coming in. Coming for you. It's exciting. [00:42:04] Speaker A: Anyways, I guess. [00:42:06] Speaker B: All right, now we can finally do our gratitudes. [00:42:07] Speaker A: While we're on that topic, I guess I'll just be grateful for him that he came over and he got these like really cool shelves for my garage. Cuz my garage is looking really empty now. And so he hung up all these shelves in my garage. He hung up the TV on a stand on the wall in my house because I haven't had anything since Gary moved out. And he like put new headlights in my car all this afternoon, like in an hour. And I was like, whoa. Okay. It's very nice to have an efficient. An efficient boy in your life. Yeah. So anyways, just the house just like was like, boom, boom. [00:42:42] Speaker B: Just getting stuff done. [00:42:43] Speaker A: Yeah, it was very nice. [00:42:45] Speaker B: We love that. [00:42:46] Speaker A: I know. So he's sweet boy. I'm very grateful for him. [00:42:50] Speaker B: Oh yeah? [00:42:51] Speaker A: What are you grateful for? [00:42:53] Speaker B: That's very sweet. Well, I've been talking. I've been really anxious lately about my test, about all the things going on at work and blah, blah. So I've been telling people that I've been super nervous and anxious and everyone has been really patient and nice to me and they just, I don't know, they have a lot of faith in my abilities to do things and I just want to be grateful for like the universe putting me in a position where I like interact regularly with people who are supportive and appreciative and, I don't know, have faith in me. It just feels really good. I'm very lucky. I'm really happy in my role, so I just had to be. [00:43:28] Speaker A: That makes me so happy for you. Yeah. Yeah. Good. [00:43:33] Speaker B: That's all I got though. [00:43:34] Speaker A: I feel like we sucked our test on Friday and it's going to be so great. [00:43:38] Speaker B: Yay. Yeah, I don't really have anything else. [00:43:40] Speaker A: Yeah, me either. We just love you guys. And we're almost to the end of this. This season, this year. What do you want to call it? I don't even know. But yeah, thank you all. [00:43:54] Speaker B: I guess, like, the seasons we've been doing have been, like, kind of April May, but we're still in season three. We're coming up on some pretty cool content, like, for the holidays. I have several guests that I'm gonna be bringing on. I'm gonna be down in Bend. We're gonna go to the Broco. I'm so freaking excited. We should definitely do, like a live, like, you know, thing. Yeah. I think we've got a lot of really fun stuff to look forward to, but this was just like a quick catch up. Get things on the books and we'll catch you all later. [00:44:26] Speaker A: Bye. Bye. [00:44:28] Speaker B: Thanks for being candid for today's episode. [00:44:30] Speaker A: Hope you enjoyed listening as much as we love you. [00:44:32] Speaker B: Follow us on Instagram @candidly30. [00:44:35] Speaker A: See you next week, bitches.
