[00:00:00] Speaker A: Foreign. To candidly. 30. I mean, candidly. Yeah. [00:00:17] Speaker B: No, it's been so long that we forgot the name of the podcast. Oh, my gosh. [00:00:22] Speaker A: Literally. Hi, everybody. How is it going? It is a Monday and we are feeling it through and through, honestly. Actually, not really because I didn't work. Yeah, I feel all right. I mean, besides my face. No, I had, like, multiple appointments. I had blood work done, I got my knee injection, and then I had micro needling done on my face. And so I was just, like, annoyingly spaced out far enough. Like, it didn't make sense for me to go into the office. I worked like an hour or two in between just, like, checking my email and whatever today. But, you know, I'm just, like, yoloing really hard because I'm a little. What's the word? But not butt hurt. I don't know. Anyway, I'm a little irritated because, like, we work so hard in, like, December, January, February, March, April, May, and, like, being on seasonal recruitment team, like, the. So summer is our relaxing time, and we just got thrown into this realignment where shit's just hitting the fan. And I'm like, no, this is my scheduled time off time. Like, this is when I don't work and this is when I am chilling. So I'm still like, I told my boss that I was like, I already had all this stuff planned. Like, I don't know what to tell you. And she's like, no, it's totally fine. She's like, we, like, this is going to be, like, operations as normal whenever we can figure that out. So it's not a big deal. But anyway, yeah, summer is supposed to be chill, and it's not turning out to be the chillest. So I'm irritated. But anyway, how are you? [00:01:59] Speaker B: I'm good. I'm sorry that it's not super chill. I honestly feel like your summers outside of work are. They stress me out, to be honest with you. Like, you always have something going on, which is always fun and. But. But it's also kind of a bummer now that you have work coming down your neck. I'm sorry. That sucks. Things are good. My voice sounds a little tired today. We've been shaking, moving and grooving, just doing bopping all over the neighborhood. So we've got, like, a ton of updates for you guys. I just want to apologize, like, at the top of the episode, it's been about two weeks, I think, since we've had a last episode, and that's not cool. I know that you guys are like, Excited to hear from us on a week by week basis. But life has been life in and. And I just want to apologize. [00:02:46] Speaker A: First and foremost, technical difficulties. Just so you guys know, we did record and it was like right before I left for Sawtooth. And so there's like lots of good updates and hopefully that episode, by the time you're listening to this episode, hopefully that episode will come out. But yeah, I don't know why my Internet was being weird that day. And so it like made us make multiple recordings and then we couldn't find all the recordings and so it just didn't get released. And so we did record it. It just was. Just took a little time to like figure out what the heck happened. Keith and I also just like mom texted us and told us that and Keith and I literally just didn't even look. We. I don't know, we were both so busy that I forgot and then I was driving to Sawtooth and I didn't even think about it again. So that's on us as well. So anyway, here we go. [00:03:36] Speaker B: Let's go back a like two weeks. [00:03:39] Speaker A: Okay. [00:03:40] Speaker B: I know that like we have some updates in the previous episode. We're going to release it anyway. So if it's a little bit repetitive, we apologize. But like, let's go back in time and talk about what's been going on the last two weeks. Tell us about Sawtooth. [00:03:56] Speaker A: It was great. The weather was fantastic. For anyone who's been around for a minute, you know that Sawtooth is historically TBD on what the weather is going to be like. And like last year it's always on like the summer solstice weekend. And last year it snowed on us that night on the longest day of the year was like midnight and so kind of light out and was fucking dumping snow on us. But anyways, and Daniel Donato and he was such a good sport about it. But anywho, it did rain one day of the festival, which was totally fine actually. But the rest of the time it was really beautiful and warm and we did so many activities for we. For our very first time, we actually went rafting one of the days with this like really funny raft guide. I mean it was like a full company, but we. Our raft guide was like super awesome. And. And so we went like on class fours and class three rapids on the Salmon river. And it was really awesome. The water was butt cold, but we were wearing dry suits, wet suits, whatever. And so it was great. It was like so crazy because the outside air temperature was like 100 degrees? No, it was probably like 85, but it felt like 100 because you're at like 7,000ft elevation and you're wearing like a full on wetsuit and it was just sticky underneath there. So anyway, but if the water touched you, you are very glad to be wearing that wetsuit. So anywho, it was awesome. That was a really good experience and something that like a first that we've done because we've. This is our first or, excuse me, this is our fifth Sawtooth Festival. And so we're like seasoned pros at this point and I love it so much and I love Stanley, Idaho so much. I just love the town. I love the vibes. I love all the activities. We did hot springing one day we just like obviously went to the music festival every day. We planned on going on a hike and then the weather was kind of shitty that just that one rainy day and then we couldn't really paddleboard or anything else that day either. So it was kind of just a wash. We just played a bunch of games and hung out and it was lovely. We also just like sat in the bakery. That's the other thing. Like the pizza place there is so good. The bakery is so good. Like the breakfast place is so good. Like, I don't know, it just has like this such a chill and wonderful vibe that I love so much. But yeah, one day we just like sat in the bakery the day that it was raining. We sat in there until like noon probably and took our sweet time because we didn't have anywhere to be, you know. So. Yeah, and the music was like fine, I would say it was. I don't know, there was just like a few bands that I was like excited to see. But other than that, I was kind of like, eh. And so it was just fun, like hanging with Sam and Josh and Brookie. And it was Brooks first festival festival and she hopefully, I think fingers crossed, loved it. She was like so in. She just loves music so much. And she hadn't been to Stanley before and so she was just very in as well. And she got some of her other friends. So she's actually. She was just got back but she was on a two week road trip going to someone's wedding at Glacier national park. And so she had some of her other friends come out to Stanley to come hang out for one of the days and that was really fun to have more Ben people there as well. And so they got to kind of get a little glimpse into it as well. But yeah, Sawtooth is always Awesome. I highly recommend it. It is kind of a haul. Like, I get why people haven't gone to it yet, but it is very dreamy. So magical. I can't even, like, describe it. It's like, literally my favorite place in the world, I think. Oh, wow. [00:07:32] Speaker B: Anyway, big wait. [00:07:34] Speaker A: I know. [00:07:34] Speaker B: How far is the drive, then from Ben to Stanley? [00:07:37] Speaker A: It's probably like six and a half, seven, depending on how many times you stop. But really, that's not bad. [00:07:44] Speaker B: It's doable in a day for us seasoned road trippers. Yeah, exactly 12 to 14 hour days. No biggie. [00:07:51] Speaker A: Yeah, seven hours is just, like, my limit by myself, where, like, I don't have anyone to talk to or anything. And so it's, like, the perfect amount of time. Mateo didn't make it, but he got to go camping with his dad and his brother and his niece for Father's Day, so that was great. And, yeah, I've just been. Man, we've been rolling and. Wait, you update on your brother visit, too? [00:08:15] Speaker B: Yeah. So my brother was here for about three and a half weeks. He always comes, like, in the summertime for at least a month. I think the first time he was here was, like, three months. The next year was two months, and now this was a month. So, you know, he always comes and we have, like, big house projects, and he's a, you know, trained electrician, so it's nice to have somebody who knows what they're doing with stuff. And I think, like, he and I spent way more time out outside doing outside projects in my backyard and my front yard. We, like, repotted or we, like, you know, moved around some ferns and potted some things. So it was really nice to just, like, have him to hang out and help out with that stuff. But before we did that, I took him to Timothy Lake. Oh, my God, this place is absolutely gorgeous. It's. [00:09:04] Speaker A: I haven't seen it. [00:09:05] Speaker B: Yeah, so we did a little bit of a. We did a hike on Mount Hood, and it was called. It was like a very Vista E hike. You only. It was like, only maybe two and a half or three miles. But you do go up. So you go up, like, maybe 800ft in elevation with some switchbacks. Like, my brother's not, like, the most athletic, slash in shape kind of person for. So for him, it was a little tough. But then, you know, you kind of level out, and then you do this big loop and you get beautiful views of Mount Hood. I should probably find the hike. I tell you what, I'll repost it on instagram. Or, like, Tick tock or whatever when we post this episode, hashtag follow me on Tick tock and Instagram. [00:09:51] Speaker A: Yeah, girl. [00:09:54] Speaker B: So we did that really wonderful hike, and then we stayed overnight at Timothy Lake. It was too cold to go in the water because it was definitely negative. Nothing. It was freezing. But I got my paddleboard out and I, like, pumped up the paddle board for the first time in the season and slept in my car. So I would. I'm definitely gonna go back to Timothy Lake sometime this summer, probably just by myself, because I want to get on the water, and it's gorgeous. It's not very far from Camp Sherman, which I think is, like, the town right below Mount Hood. So it's, like, not even 30 minutes away from Mount Hood itself. [00:10:39] Speaker A: Well, Camp Sherman is right on the Metolius, though. That's a kind of near. [00:10:45] Speaker B: What am I thinking of? Government camp. [00:10:47] Speaker A: Yes, yes, yes. Okay, that makes sense. [00:10:49] Speaker B: Government camp. [00:10:50] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:10:50] Speaker B: Okay. I also literally just drove at, like, 3:00 clock in the morning from. Well, from Sisters to Portland. [00:10:57] Speaker A: So, yeah, your girl's tired. I was. [00:11:01] Speaker B: And all that stuff. [00:11:02] Speaker A: I'm not even kidding. I was a freaking zombie on Saturday. Like, I don't know what. What was happening. Like, what was going on. I think I, like, didn't eat enough food or something. That sounds crazy, but I think I had, like, so much caffeine. I did drink a Red Bull, which could have been the downfall of my existence, but I felt like, yeah, literally, I fe mentally, like, unwell. I was like, I think I just need to, like, close my eyes and, like, not talk to people for, like, three solid hours. And I came home and I went straight to a baby birthday party, which was lovely. As soon as we sang to her, though, I was like, and I'm out. I need to go home. I need to sit in the darkness and not talk to anyone or be talked at. And. Yeah, so anyways, Mateo did stay at baby birthday party, but, yeah. Yeah, I was like, I literally cannot. I cannot even function. But all that to be said is, I think Big Ponderoo was a huge success. Kate and I both worked the festival. So do you want to give your first. [00:12:02] Speaker B: It's like, a big deviation from Mount Hood and Timothy Lake. And then talk about this last weekend. That was Big Ponderoo. [00:12:11] Speaker A: We. [00:12:12] Speaker B: I was in sisters. They had 2,500 people from Thursday until Saturday. Kelly and I both worked. Do you want to tell them about your shift? [00:12:22] Speaker A: Yeah. So I. It's so fun, like, being a staff member. It is a lot of work. Don't get me wrong, but it is really fun to be a staff member. You get, like an all access pass. You get access to, like, the green room and the snacks and the drinks. And obviously we don't drink on shift, but the other drinks as well. Like Red Bulls. Like, how else would I have gotten my hands on a Red Bull? But anyways, so, yeah, I was working the box office this time. Previous festival is. I know you guys have heard me talk about Sister Spoke Fest. I am typically the volunteer coordinator, but this time I was one of the leads for the box office. And it was so great. It was, like, so chill, so relaxed. I mean, I worked three shifts, varying in, like, the amount of hours that I worked and stuff. But it's just such, like, a chill and laid back festival. Like, I just love all the staff members so much. Like, the actual Sisters Folk Fest staff members shout out to Kayla, who has brought us into this world. But yeah, it was just. The lineup was really good. Even though I was, like, so hooped that I didn't really enjoy too, too much of the music. But it's just so fun. Like, a lot of our friends go. Our friends that live in Sisters and everything. It's just like you walk around and you just like, I say hi to, like, every other person. Like, it's somehow that I just like, everyone always comes back. Like, the volunteers come back and it's really fun to see them, like, festival after festival and get to know all their names and everything. They're all like. Most of them are like, sisters or Portland locals who just love, like, the community and love Sisters and Sisters Hope Fest and everything. But, yeah, so it's just like a good vibe of just like, I love knowing everybody and walking around and hanging out and. Yeah, it's just really cool. How was your first experience? [00:14:09] Speaker B: Yeah, I mean, this is my second or third. Big Ponderoo. The festival itself is not very big, which I love because there's only so many people. And then they had two different stages that were, like, kind of swapping back and forth between the acts. So, like, there was always some music going on, which is really great. Big Richard played. I love them so much. Ever since, like, they've done us. I think they've done Strawberry a couple of times. [00:14:34] Speaker A: Yeah, definitely a couple, couple of times. [00:14:37] Speaker B: And then there was that one time, maybe last year or the year before, where we went to the after show and they did a rendition of Creep by Radiohead. And it was Chef's Kiss. Like, I have a video of it. I loved It. Those girls are amazing. I tried so hard not to fangirl when Kelly and I were having dinner one night, and they were sitting, seating at the table right behind us, and I was like, oh, my God. Sweating behind my neck. [00:15:03] Speaker A: Yeah, that is the thing about the green room, too, is that you're, like, just eating and talking and chatting and walking by all these musicians that you like. If you don't see them on stage, it's hard to, like, associate them with being, you know, a musician or whatever. And so, yeah, it's kind of fun. Like, we just ate dinner next to Big Richard one night, and they were slapping each other in the faces with pita breads, which was hilarious. [00:15:27] Speaker B: I, like, mentioned them, and they're not gonna listen to this episode, but, like, we love that. [00:15:31] Speaker A: I know. It's just so funn. I don't know if anyone remembers that, like, trend where you have, like, water in your mouth and you, like, slap each other with tortillas, like, they were doing that, but it was pita bread because the dinner was, like, Mediterranean food that night or whatever. But anyways, they're just that. That vibe, like, all the time. I feel like. [00:15:50] Speaker B: Yeah, that's such a funny game, too. [00:15:52] Speaker A: I love it. Yeah. Anyways, they're. They're silly like that, but, yeah. California Honeydew Fruition. [00:16:01] Speaker B: Fruition was great. Steel Canyon Rangers. I got to see them close the show or close the whole festival. They did such a good job. Yeah. I think the music. Out of all the festivals that we've been to this year, like, this year. Yeah, that it's been a little. So. So with the musical performances, like, we haven't been super in love with it, but this time, even though I was working and I was, like, running around like a chicken with my head cut off, I still got to enjoy some, like, really good music. So that was. That was really great. So, yeah, Kelly was in charge of the box office. She gets to sit in, like, this really cute, clean area. Everybody's so excited to talk to her. They're, like, ready to pay for their ticket, and they're just, like, asking super sweet questions. [00:16:41] Speaker A: Okay. I've done my due. I have done plenty of festivals where I am running around in the lowest person on the top. [00:16:51] Speaker B: The zero waste shift. So zero waste for those of us who don't know, because I didn't before my shift. You have to sit next to the garbage and, like, tell people, this is trash, this is recycling, and this is compost. And so that's what. But I was running a Team of like five volunteers. And I was the only one who was like taking. Picking up the trash and weighing all of the trash and then throwing it into the dumpster. So, like, it was just a really stinky weekend. But you know what? Everybody was so grateful that we were there. And like, very. Some random man, like literally out of a movie, he made eye contact with me across the meadow as people were dancing. And I'm like just walking closer to him because I'm going to my next station with like a bag of, I don't know, cans or whatever. I'm like dripping with garbage on me. It's fine. And he like, wanted to hug me. And I'm like, do I? Because I'm not from Sisters. I know people in Bend, but there could be faces that I've met before and I don't remember. And like, maybe they remember me. I don't know. I'm just trying to be nice. So I'm hugging him and then he's like, really squeezed. He must have been on like ecstasy or something because he was like loving life. He really squeezed. Hug me. And I pulled back and I'm like, do I know you? And he's like, no, I'm just a hugger. Like, like, that's kind of. [00:18:18] Speaker A: I thought he was hugging you because he was like stoked that you were working with the trash. [00:18:25] Speaker B: No, but like. No, I don't think maybe he didn't. [00:18:28] Speaker A: Okay. [00:18:28] Speaker B: Specify that. But he did. He was just like, I'm a hugger. And I'm like, okay. So everybody was really nice. Sweetest people I know. They're so, so, so fun and their daughters are adorable. [00:18:40] Speaker A: Yeah. Oh my God. [00:18:43] Speaker B: Yeah. The team was great. Everybody was. But I am. I was up until like 4:30, until like midnight slash 1:00 clock for three days straight. Like. [00:18:53] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:18:54] Speaker B: I think I sat down for a cumulative of like 45 minutes in that three day period. [00:18:58] Speaker A: Shoot. That's the time when you needed to wear your watch just so you knew how much you were in a month. [00:19:05] Speaker B: And I feel liberated, honestly. [00:19:07] Speaker A: I know. It's lovely. Yeah. [00:19:08] Speaker B: Yeah. And my husband's going to come in and pour me some more wine if that's okay. Just a little delivery. [00:19:15] Speaker A: Amazing. [00:19:17] Speaker B: I made a bunch of food. I hope you're hungry for dinner. Okay. Hi. [00:19:24] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:19:25] Speaker B: She's like, hi. [00:19:27] Speaker A: Anyway, thank you. [00:19:30] Speaker B: So, yeah, Big pottery was wonderful. Everybody is so lovely there. I definitely would do it again next year. I just don't know if I want to do this particular shift. I'd probably. [00:19:39] Speaker A: Yeah, I Mean, it's just so, so crazy because, I mean, they're all pretty like labor intensive, I would say. Even like the box office, like I was running around like, looking for people. And I mean, like, I think on Saturday I had like 22, 000 steps when I went to bed. And that's like, rare. That's like. I don't know. That is rare for me. I mean, I always try to get over 10,000, but doubling that is like, pretty tough. So anyways, yeah, it just like, there's a lot going on. Like you going back and forth between the green room and just like Scissors Folk Fest is like that times two. Because there's like nine different stages or seven stages, whatever. And you're just like going across town every time, even riding bikes and stuff. You get a lot of steps in. So anyways, it's a really cool, awesome festival. And Mom, I got an update on your tickets for Sisters Folk Fest. I'm. We're able to post them on Facebook, so just so you know. But anyway, so we should work on that. Or I'll work on that soon, but any users? Yeah, we have just been moving and grooving and not saying that that's not like per. Status quo, but yeah, we've. We've actually got to see each other quite a bit too. And I'm gonna see Cave again in like two more weeks because it's already Party Barge season. Like what the actual, actual. [00:21:00] Speaker B: Speaking of, I need to get ready for Party Barge. Oh, my goodness. [00:21:05] Speaker A: But I'm very excited for it. Yeah, I know. [00:21:08] Speaker B: I was thinking about sending. Because we talked about this on the last episode that I was just listening to before we got into today. We need to find a theme. I think I'll take that on. I know that you're probably already very overwhelmed or like, there's still a lot to figure out for that. So, yeah, I will take it on. And my thoughts were we should do like three options for our theme for Party Barge and then just let people vote on it. And the signal thread. Oh, I think I'm gonna like, tease them here. Like, let's do a little bit of a workshop and see if we can find three good themes. [00:21:43] Speaker A: Okay. Party Barge. [00:21:44] Speaker B: Because they tell us a little bit about the parameters because it is not like a traditional theme. We need to be a little bit more flexible, I'd say. [00:21:54] Speaker A: Totally. So, yeah, it's just that it has to be able to get wet. You don't want to be wearing too much clothing because it's hot as Balls down in Lake Billy Chinook. And then also you're like wearing a bathing suit under it. And also you're taking it on and off, on and off constantly. And like, so you don't want like a bunch of like face makeup or like things like that because they're getting in the water. So there is some parameters for it because it does get a little tough. I'm still into titties and tutus. Not that I know what titties would be, but like, I think titties and tutus is just so funny. We could do another T word. We could do like tiaras and tutus or something. I don't know. Because you wear a tiara and jump in the water. I don't know. [00:22:37] Speaker B: Anyways, who has a tiara run like just around. I don't have a tiara. No, I still have all of the like captain hat from last year. I still have that in my costume thing. Although I don't have a big costume box. So I was thinking the disco stuff because we just did disco for Strawberry and like everybody has disco stuff. It's super easy to like throw together. [00:23:00] Speaker A: True. It is the theme of the year. [00:23:02] Speaker B: For sure. I do. We can probably put together a tutu fairly quickly. And then like animal is very easy. If somebody has like an animal top or like a bathing suit or they can like wear ears or something that's like cheap and easy and they can just throw on. So those are my three. [00:23:24] Speaker A: Oh yeah, no, you're right. You're right. Sorry. I just was thinking about like. I was thinking like mermaids obviously outdone. What's another like animal that's in the water? Whatever. Dolphins. And then I went through like manatee and then I went to crocodile and then I went to. This all just happened in my head instantaneously as K Flor was talking. And then I went to. What if we do like a hick, like, you know, like cut off shorts, wife beaters, like bandanas and like. What are they called? Mullets. With like. I don't know, what's it called? Like the bayou or something? Wouldn't that be. [00:24:02] Speaker B: Yeah, we can totally do like a Bayou South. Yeah, I mean that's like a southern, but very specific Southern, like Louisiana white trash, you know? [00:24:12] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah, totally. That's what I was thinking. [00:24:15] Speaker B: Anyways, just somebody to dress up as a crocodile. Do we know anybody with like a crocodile outfit? [00:24:22] Speaker A: No. Or maybe their alligator shoe. Are alligators in Louisiana? Oh, crap. This is something. I don't know, maybe alligators are in Florida. I don't know. Yeah, true, true. Just, just came to my head. I was just trying to think of like other water creatures, but. [00:24:37] Speaker B: So those are the three though. Like we could do disco, we could do tiaras and tutus or titties and tutus and then animal. You heard it here first, people. We're teasing it out. [00:24:47] Speaker A: Perfect. I'm into it anyways. What do you have coming up before Party barge? Do you got anything? What are you doing for fourth of July? [00:24:56] Speaker B: Well, this weekend I'm not doing anything other than puppy sitting. So my cousin Haley, Dr. Mitchell that we all know and love, who we haven't had on the podcast in a while, maybe I should reach out, see if she wants to come back on. Yeah, she and her family are gonna go to California somewhere she told me and I completely forgot. And I'm gonna watch their dog. They have this really cute doodle, a little golden doodle or something. And Alby and I are gonna go on a hike this weekend. Oh, I'm gonna take him to the dog park. And then I'm studying. So I started my new job. I have a new gig, everybody. I don't know if I should mention it here, I'll keep it on the download, but if you want to know, you know how to reach me. But with that I have to study again. So I have another test, another licensing test that's going to be scheduled for the 31st of July, which I'm kind of stressed about. It's like one of the harder tests and I need to spend a lot of time studying. A lot of it is the same information, but there's like more intricacies and nuances that I need to be aware of. So basically I'm moving from personal finance to a much more broader global investment company. And so that requires me to get an additional license. So that's what I'm studying for. And I'm happy watching this weekend. I'm very. [00:26:19] Speaker A: That'll be great. I was just thinking, I kind of had an existential crisis. Like two hours ago I was getting my facial because I. I mean it's not even that big of a deal but like in my world right now it's a big deal. But so I am working tomorrow and Wednesday, but then I have Thursday and Friday off because the holiday and then it's my normal Friday off. So then I get holiday observed on Thursday. So I'm only working a two day week this week and then next week is my first full five day work week in like A very long time. And so I am going to be very unwell. But it's okay. I'm very happy for your new job and I really, really am excited to hear more about it. And you're gonna crush your test. It's gonna be so awesome. But yeah, welcome. I mean, I was just so, so incredibly jealous of your like two week break. But now you're like back at it and you're like even busier than ever. So. Yep, starting new jobs, but also a fresh start, which is lovely. [00:27:19] Speaker B: Yeah, fresh start for sure. I feel I'm very motivated. I have to be like up at 4:50 in the car at 5:30 in my seat at 6, I'm done at 3, I'm home at 4. And so the whole afternoon I have like all this time to work out and go for walks. I've been working with my brother because he's been here. So we've like done a lot of the outdoor stuff. My husband just built a cabinet for my laundry room. So I'm removing all of my laundry room, replacing all of the, the crown molding and the. What do you call those things on the floor? Baseboards. So it's just, it's been a very busy. But it's always like this because this is when the weather is good. And then in the fall, in the winter, nothing is going on and all we're doing is talking about TV and being sad that it's so cold. [00:28:07] Speaker A: I know it. But I will say this, this summer has been very strange because like I thought we were just gonna have an early summer because we didn't really have a winter. But like literally spring has just like drug on and on and on. Like it's been more rainy, darker, more days than like any summer that I can remember. And so like even today I woke up this morning, it was like completely black outside and it was just freezing cold until like noon when like whatever this gross stuff was like wore off. But yeah, it's just so strange. Like it is supposed to be like 94 I think on Saturday or something like that, but which is very hot. [00:28:46] Speaker B: Like four or five days of straight up 92, 97 degree weather. [00:28:51] Speaker A: It was very, very hot when my [00:28:53] Speaker B: brother was here, but it was good because we were like working outside. So just crack a beer at like 3 o' clock in the afternoon and it's fine. [00:29:00] Speaker A: Yeah, so yeah, see, we haven't even had that really. We had like two days maybe that were in the high 80s, but like, yeah, we haven't had anything besides that. It's just been, like, we kind of weird. So anyways, it is strange summer with [00:29:14] Speaker B: the warm weather that we just had for, like, two weeks. It was kind of like 97.98 for a few days, and then like, roughly 88. So it's fine. But for a prolonged amount of time, my hydrangeas popped. [00:29:26] Speaker A: They are so beautiful. Yeah. Yeah. [00:29:31] Speaker B: I have, like, four plants out there, all blooming, and it's. Yeah, it's very. It's satisfying to, like, come back to it in the next two years of, you know, whatever, and. And they're not green. They're. They're like a pink. So I'm working my way to getting them blue because I bought a big blue leaf, and I have to, like, work with the soil and stuff. So I'm getting better at it, people. [00:29:54] Speaker A: Oh, my God. That's amazing. I will give a tiny little update on the garden. The garden has, like, exploded, which is really exciting. I mean, nothing too crazy yet. I harvested. Well, Matt and I harvested carrots yesterday, but they're still like little baby guys. But they're so yummy and delicious. I'm, like, so excited. We have, like, lots of tomatoes. They're just not quite ripe yet, so I'm excited. For those, we have some zucchinis that are just, like, not quite big enough yet. So everything's, like, starting. It's happening. It's like the garden actually looks big and full and whatever, but, yeah, we'll get there someday. It also is, like, weird because we planted things so early because we didn't really have a winter, but then it hasn't really gotten warm yet, so then nothing. Everything's just, like, kind of taking its sweet ass time, which is irritating. But whatever, it's fine. We'll get there eventually. [00:30:45] Speaker B: I know. I do want to, like, do a quick little plug here. I've been watching. I have hbo. It's, like, one of the only streaming services that I actually pay, like, the annual pass for or whatever. I've been watching a series called Old Home Stories or Diary of an Old Home, and they have, like, eight different Portland houses from the 1960s, like, relatively around the time my house was built. So if you were ever curious, those houses have such the, like, ideal esthetic and style that I am thriving. I'm trying to get to in my house. It's not there because, like, I'm obviously not an interior designer, but they're gorgeous. You guys should, if you're into that. I really enjoy watching interior design and, like, cooking shows and stuff. Like, that so Stories of an old home. There's one in Portland and it's so beautiful. You just walk in. It's like mid century modern on crack. It's amazing. [00:31:42] Speaker A: Cool. I'll have to check it out. I don't think we have hbo, actually. I think we just have prime and Netflix. But speaking of. Actually, I was telling Cave when she was here, I just watched this really cute, like, rom com on Netflix and it's called Voicemails for Isabel. And it like, obviously reminded me of Keith because they're like, they're two sisters and they're like, main thing is Robin and like, they're obsessed with Robin and they like have like a whole dance routine to like one of Robin's songs. And so it's like a huge part of the movie. Anyways, it's very cute and just like, really well done, I would say. I don't know if it's based on a book or anything. It would make sense if it was based on a book. But anyway, yeah, highly recommend. I feel like all rom coms are like, pretty bad these days, but the last two that I've watched have been actually decent. Like, I'm in. So I've been like, seeking those out a little bit more lately when I have like a few seconds that actually took me three whole days to watch because that's how much time I have after work and things. [00:32:43] Speaker B: Are you like a person who has to, like, pause the movie and then live life and then come back to the of the movie? [00:32:48] Speaker A: No, I absolutely am not. But I like, want to watch something before bed and there's like nothing that's catching my eye that's like 30 or 45 minutes right now. And so I just like start a movie and then I'm like, I absolutely am not going to watch this two hour long movie because I need. Otherwise I'm going to be an asshole. So. Yeah, but I try to not do that because that does really irritate me. But anyways, we even started that Burrows show on Netflix a little while ago. Like probably two weeks ago at this point. We watched half of an episode, which is insane. Also, why are episodes so freaking long these days too? Why are they like an hour and something minutes? [00:33:31] Speaker B: Oh, I mean, a lot of HBO shows are like that. It's like an hour and ten minutes for one. [00:33:35] Speaker A: That is too much of a commitment for me at night. Like, I cannot. That's like, I need to go to bed. So anyways, we watched like 25 minutes of it the first night in like 35, 37 minutes of it or whatever last night. And I was like, and it's time for bed now because. Yeah, anyway. But I don't know if I'm in yet to that show. By the way, the other one everyone was talking about is I will find you. We watched the trailer for it last night. It does look good. But we did again, didn't want to commit to an hour long episode last night. So we haven't started it, but I'm interested. [00:34:07] Speaker B: Yeah, I feel like there's a lot that I haven't seen in a while, but we'll get there. That's what the winter is for. You know, I've just been like doing festival stuff and doing out duck side stuff and you know, just putting it on my watch list for later. But I don't miss John Oliver every week I watch, so long as he has an episode. That's why I pay for HBO is for John Oliver. So I don't know if you've been paying attention to like all this. No cnn, CBS buyout from Paramount, all this nonsense that's been going on. Yeah, I'm a little nervous. I don't know. I mean all of our commentators, political commentators, they're like. [00:34:41] Speaker A: Right. Yeah. I mean, I did watch the whole Colbert thing. He just like went down so well though. Like, I was very impressed with how he like handled it. [00:34:51] Speaker B: And like such a classy guy, like, I know, so thoroughly in love with his wife. Really nice South Carolina guy. He's hilarious. He's like intelligent. He makes really good arguments. I think that show was amazing. I didn't watch him religiously, but like what he had done with the Daily show before four and then taking over the, the late night show. [00:35:15] Speaker A: Yeah, Jon Stewart isn't canceled yet, right? [00:35:19] Speaker B: No, but he's on a different. He's on like Cartoon Network or something. I don't know. Oh, he's on a different thing. But now. Yeah, the Daily show has kind of gone through their own evolution over the past couple of years, which has been fascinating to see because Demi, I think her name is Demi, is amazing. She's won a bunch of stuff. Jordan Klepper is great. Trevor Noah is great. He's not on that anymore. But then I also started watching Roy Wood Jr. Who was on the Daily Show. Now he has his own show with Amber Ruffin. And Amber Ruffin is a writer on Seth Meyers, who I also love and have I got news for you is hilarious. They have Michael Ian Black, who I love and they always have different guests they have really interesting. The way they approach the news is really like a game show kind of. So it's a little less formatted, I guess. It's very, like, approachable pants, I guess. Yeah, yeah, it's very approachable. [00:36:14] Speaker A: It's very improvable, I guess. [00:36:16] Speaker B: Yeah, it's good. Yeah. Anyway, I could talk all about the political commentary because that's how I like to absorb my satire, you know? [00:36:25] Speaker A: Yeah. Honestly, this has been the farthest I've been removed from, like, politics in a long time because, you know, I'm just like, a TikTok girly and I'm all over that. But I have been having a really hard time with my mental health lately and just, like, how much I hate my job and. Yeah. How. Just, like, bleak. Yeah. Yeah. How bleak and dark, like, everything feels and how. Yeah, it's just really terrible right now. It's actually very upsetting because it's summer and it's supposed to be the only time that I feel alive and I feel very awful. So just. [00:37:01] Speaker B: I mean, I will say that, like, over the past year, it has. Years, multiple have. It's been very dark and bleak and sad. But as of the last, I'd say, like, 60 days, there have been, I have found, selfish, like, I don't know, my perspective. I have found more things to be more optimistic about because he is so heavy. He is failing. He is just starting the domino effect of how deep I hope that they fail. They fail. So they deserve to fail so irrevocably and, like, it's barely scratching the surface. And we'll see if they actually follow through. They probably won't. But I. I do think that we are on the tail end, the beginnings, hopefully, of the tail end of the terribleness that has been dominating our life since 2016. So. Hopefully. But, you know, I've said that before. Have you? I also. One last plug, if that's okay, because I pay for hbo. Larry David, the guy who did Seinfeld. Seinfeld and Larry David, Curb youb Enthusiasm [00:38:11] Speaker A: and bunch of stuff. [00:38:13] Speaker B: He's come out with a new series that Barack Obama has produced with him. And there are these, like, very funny skits of It's Kind of like Drunk History. Do you remember the Drunk History Show? [00:38:26] Speaker A: Totally. [00:38:27] Speaker B: So they're doing kind of a drunk history. It's called Life and the Pursuit of Unhappiness. And it's a lot of these, like, big moments in time. And they put them, like, a really good representation of, like, what it probably was like with a really Heavy overview of comedy, but there's a lot of really famous people that make an appearance and it feels a little bit more like drunk, drunk history, which is kind of fun, so. [00:38:49] Speaker A: Oh, cool. [00:38:50] Speaker B: A little less inebriation and more satirical comedy, but it's pretty good. I watched the first, like, couple of episodes. [00:38:57] Speaker A: Wait, sorry, remind you what it's called [00:38:59] Speaker B: life in the pursuit of unhappiness. [00:39:01] Speaker A: Okay. Okay. [00:39:02] Speaker B: I bet you, like, my parents will probably really like it. Your parents will probably really like it because, like, Larry David's a little bit. A little bit of an older gentleman. Not necessarily a millennial, but he's just, [00:39:13] Speaker A: like, crass and, like, dry. I feel like, very crass. [00:39:16] Speaker B: Grass and dry. [00:39:18] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:39:18] Speaker B: In like, a good. He's very, [00:39:23] Speaker A: like. [00:39:23] Speaker B: I don't know. He's kind of a good prevalence of our time to. [00:39:26] Speaker A: Yeah, totally make a representation of, like, people in generation and how they should rethink white male. So they need to be. Oh, yeah. Doing all they can at this point anyway. Yeah, totally. But also just anything the Obamas are doing. Also bring back the Obamas. Just, like, where are the Obamas? We need the Obama. [00:39:49] Speaker B: No, the Obama Center. It looks gorgeous. Now I gotta go to Chicago. I've never been to Chicago. [00:39:55] Speaker A: Oh, cool. Okay. Yeah, Send it to me if you see it again. I want to see. [00:39:59] Speaker B: I will. It looks beautiful. Yeah, it's an incredible building. They had, like, this huge concert and. Yeah, it looks gorgeous. So I'm just. [00:40:07] Speaker A: Just. [00:40:08] Speaker B: I miss them for sure. [00:40:09] Speaker A: Yeah. Ah, so crazy what class gratitude is. Let's play this game really fast. I want to play a game. Okay. [00:40:17] Speaker B: Okay, my bad. [00:40:19] Speaker A: Okay, so speaking of Tick Tock, we are obsessed with this other podcast that we both also don't listen to. We only watch them on Tick Tock, but it's called. And I don't know, are they. Is it basement Yard boys or are they just basement yard? Anyways, they're very funny and they're like these two best friends and they just play all these games. Like, their podcast is actually, like, pretty funny in general. They have, like, a lot of, like, the highlight reels that they post on Tick Tock, but they play all these really, like, creative and fun games that, like, translate to podcasts. And so I like watching them because it is like what Kate and I try to think of all the time, and we just, like, kind of fail at it. So anyways, I have really good ideas, but this one is just like a categories game. And so basically what we have to do is, like, so, you know, the Categories where you, like, say, like, cereal, and then you have to name, like, an A, B, a C, a D, whatever. Like, those kind of categories. Like, we're just doing those type of categories. Just, like, one word, and Keith and I are going to try and we're gonna go, three, two, one, say the word that we're gonna say. [00:41:26] Speaker B: And I'm glad you clarified that. [00:41:29] Speaker A: Yes. [00:41:29] Speaker B: And remember when we played this game and we cracked, we, like, I peed laughing because we were talking about goats. [00:41:34] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:41:35] Speaker B: Something about goats. I don't remember the joke, but it's [00:41:37] Speaker A: kind of similar to that, but not really the same. So this is kind of similar to the game that Kate is talking about, where you, like. So you are trying to get to the same word. So basically, you start without a category or anything. You start and you. Someone says, like, dolphin, and someone says crocodile. And then, like, eventually you, like, try to get to Party Barge. Right? So, like. But, like, for this one, we were [00:41:59] Speaker B: all on there, girl. Got you. [00:42:03] Speaker A: But for this one, we're just starting. We're saying a category, and we're trying to read each other's minds. Like, kind of like, what. Knowing what the other person would say. Like, we're so in tune that we'd, like, know what the other person says, but also kind of just like, having common sense of, like, what would be the most common answer? [00:42:19] Speaker B: I would say it's like, it's no big deal. Common sense. Okay. All the time. [00:42:25] Speaker A: Okay, let's say, for example, if. If we're saying, like, computer brands. Let's just do like a. A quick one. Okay. Let's do, like, this is the practice around people. Yeah. Laptop computer brands. Okay. Do you have one? [00:42:40] Speaker B: Yep, I got one. [00:42:41] Speaker A: Okay. Three, two, one. Apple. Hp. [00:42:45] Speaker B: Oh, my God. You have an hp. What are you talking about? [00:42:49] Speaker A: I don't have an hp. I've never had an hp. I have a Dell. [00:42:55] Speaker B: Oh, you have an Apple. That's why I said Apple. I know. I thought you were gonna say HP because I thought you had an hp. Okay, so you're welcome, people. That's how you play. [00:43:05] Speaker A: So also, this is another good thing to note is that try not to think. I mean, yeah, try to think of what the other person's gonna say, but also try to think of, like, even if I had an hp, think of what the most common denominator would be. You know what I mean? I think that's the best way to win the game. But I'm trying not to give you too much away. Okay. [00:43:27] Speaker B: Think too much about it. You just have to say the first thing that pops in your brain and trust the fact that, like, you and I are on the same wavelength, and we're probably gonna get it right. [00:43:35] Speaker A: Okay, perfect. Great. So happy. All right, let's start this. Are you ready? Okay. [00:43:43] Speaker B: Yes, I'm ready. [00:43:43] Speaker A: Let's do a baseball team. Okay. [00:43:47] Speaker B: Okay. [00:43:49] Speaker A: Three. [00:43:49] Speaker B: You got two. [00:43:51] Speaker A: One. Giant. [00:43:52] Speaker B: Giants. Yay. [00:43:54] Speaker A: Okay. [00:43:55] Speaker B: I literally have their hat, like, right there. It's so cute. [00:43:57] Speaker A: Oh, cute. Okay, that was an easy one. Let's get a little bit harder. Okay, let's do a fruit. Okay. [00:44:06] Speaker B: Okay. [00:44:07] Speaker A: Three, two, one. [00:44:09] Speaker B: Apple. An apple. They're obsessed with apples. [00:44:16] Speaker A: But also, when you think of, like. Like, I don't know, like, something that's, like, the first word that you learn of. Like, the Alphabet. You know, when you're, like, trying to do word associations? I don't know. [00:44:26] Speaker B: Anyways, it's literally like, you learn the word fruit, and then what do you associate with fruit? Apple. Like, as a kid, you have apple, and apple is the first of the Alphabet. So, like. [00:44:36] Speaker A: Exactly. [00:44:37] Speaker B: Strawberry. I'm gonna smack you because it's an apple. [00:44:41] Speaker A: Okay, let's do [00:44:44] Speaker B: travel. [00:44:45] Speaker A: Like, dream, travel, destination. This one might be a little harder. I have one. [00:44:51] Speaker B: The thing that we talked about, like, two days ago. [00:44:54] Speaker A: Okay. Okay, ready? Three, two, one. Bali. [00:44:59] Speaker B: Bali. Yay. [00:45:01] Speaker A: Okay, good. Because I wasn't sure if you were gonna say Italy or not, because I was like, I feel like we both. Yeah. But we've been talking about Bali for, like, ever and ever and ever, so. I know. [00:45:11] Speaker B: Ever and ever and ever. Kelly and I are gonna be getting to our 20th anniversary. Like, next year. No, in two years. [00:45:19] Speaker A: Crazy guys. [00:45:21] Speaker B: 20 anniversary. And I think we're gonna go to Bali, but we're gonna try and figure it out. I don't know, maybe also then to go with us and maybe. [00:45:29] Speaker A: Oh, my God, yes. [00:45:30] Speaker B: Would that be, like, the best travel group ever? [00:45:32] Speaker A: That would be a really fun group. Thousand percent. I will say there is a tiny bit of a delay, and so it seems like you are copying what I'm saying, but we are saying them at the same time. Because I can see her mouth moving. Just so everyone knows. [00:45:50] Speaker B: Yeah, I'm not treating people. [00:45:52] Speaker A: Try to edit out the, like, space in between if you can. Anyways, okay, let's do this one. What about hobby? Let me think, let me think. Okay, I think I have one. Tell me when you're ready. [00:46:06] Speaker B: I don't know if we're gonna get this one, but I have one. [00:46:08] Speaker A: Okay. Three, two, one. Garden. [00:46:12] Speaker B: Knitting. [00:46:13] Speaker A: Oh, I Only did gardening because we're both doing it right now. [00:46:18] Speaker B: Yeah, I should have said normally said that. I just did, like, knitting hobby. I don't know why that's the first association that came in my head. But gardening makes way more sense because, like, I. I don't knit. I don't do that at all. [00:46:33] Speaker A: Okay, let's do. This is a little bit harder one because it's very vague, but, like, let's do like a top 10 movie. Okay. Okay, I have one. [00:46:46] Speaker B: Yeah, I have one, too. [00:46:48] Speaker A: Three, two, one. Titanic. [00:46:52] Speaker B: 10 Things I Hate about you. Oh, Titanic. I'm sorry. I was doing Panic Kelly. I was doing, like, worldwide top 10 movies. [00:47:01] Speaker A: Like, Titanic is like, one of the most well known movies. [00:47:05] Speaker B: Yeah. But also 10 things I hate about you is, like, hands down, one of the best movies made all time. [00:47:10] Speaker A: Okay, okay, okay, okay. My bad, my bad. Jesus. Please. Okay, let's do an easy, easier one then. What about TV shows? [00:47:18] Speaker B: Oh, we can do this one pretty quickly. [00:47:20] Speaker A: Three, two, one. Friends. [00:47:24] Speaker B: Yeah. Okay, perfect. We knew that was gonna happen. [00:47:27] Speaker A: Yeah, obviously. Okay, I only have a couple more. Do you have any off the top of your head? [00:47:34] Speaker B: No, I'm sorry I didn't come prepared with extra questions, but I am playing this game. [00:47:38] Speaker A: Okay, let's. Do I have a few more. Okay. Cars. [00:47:43] Speaker B: Oh, okay. I'm gonna. [00:47:45] Speaker A: Wait, hold on. I need to think of what you're gonna say. Shoot. I don't know. [00:47:53] Speaker B: I'm not that much of a wild card, I promise you. [00:47:57] Speaker A: Oh, oh, oh. Okay. Okay, okay. Ready? Three. [00:48:00] Speaker B: Oh, geez. [00:48:02] Speaker A: One. Ralph. Oh, okay. I thought you were gonna say you're like, dream car that you, like, are planning to buy with when you win the lottery, but I couldn't remember. [00:48:13] Speaker B: Is it a Camaro? I absolutely will buy a Mustang. [00:48:17] Speaker A: Oh, Mustang. Dang it. I need a Camaro or Mustang to shoot. [00:48:20] Speaker B: But I'm not gonna, like, obviously I'm gonna say what you. What I think you're gonna say, because the car that I'm driving right now is around four, because, like, we're in the RAV crew, so. [00:48:29] Speaker A: Okay. [00:48:30] Speaker B: Yeah, I mean, a Mustang. Hello. That's. That's me. Definitely 1966. [00:48:35] Speaker A: Anyway, can we do a, like, board game card game? Yeah, there's that one. Like, way too easy. [00:48:42] Speaker B: Well, no, let's do a card game board game. We could do something like that. [00:48:46] Speaker A: Okay. Or it's like, like, so vague, but also so not big at the same time. [00:48:51] Speaker B: I feel like you and I are gonna say the same thing. Yeah, yeah. [00:48:54] Speaker A: Three, two, one. Crib. [00:48:56] Speaker B: Cribbage. Yeah. [00:48:58] Speaker A: Okay. That's where I was. Like, I want to say board game, but card game. Just like S'. Mores1. Okay. [00:49:05] Speaker B: Image is just so accessible. So that's my, like, go to. But anyway, go ahead. [00:49:09] Speaker A: Fair. Okay. Color. I don't know if I'll say the same thing. I think I think I. Okay. I think, I think I do. [00:49:20] Speaker B: Yeah. I feel like you and I have literally the same favorite color. [00:49:23] Speaker A: Okay. Three, two, one. Blue. [00:49:26] Speaker B: Teal. [00:49:27] Speaker A: Oh, I was gonna say teal too, but I thought your favorite color is blue. [00:49:33] Speaker B: Teal. [00:49:33] Speaker A: Blue. [00:49:34] Speaker B: Turquoise. [00:49:35] Speaker A: Same, same. Okay. [00:49:37] Speaker B: It's all in the same general area. [00:49:40] Speaker A: Okay. Let's just do a random wild card one. I don't know why I wrote this one down. Let's do age. Let's do. What if we do like. What if we do like our favorite age so far? [00:49:51] Speaker B: Our favorite age. Oh, girl, why do you gotta do me like that? [00:49:55] Speaker A: I don't know if it'll have the same one though. So don't say like your favorite age. Just like a general universal favorite age, I guess. [00:50:04] Speaker B: Okay. That seems weird, but okay. [00:50:08] Speaker A: Okay, never mind. No, we can try. We'll try. [00:50:13] Speaker B: Okay, we'll try. I'm gonna say. I'm gonna say a number. I'm gonna say. Okay, you ready? [00:50:18] Speaker A: 3, 2, 1. 33. [00:50:21] Speaker B: 27. [00:50:23] Speaker A: Oh, I was gonna say 26 in the first place, but then I was like, no, 30 is pretty good, actually. [00:50:29] Speaker B: My early 30s kicked me in the teeth. So, like, I'm not really in love with my 30s, but in 26, 27, I was like, like at the tail end of my time in San Francisco and I was doing really well professionally and. Yeah. So I feel like that was a little bit of a better time than 31 when covet happened. [00:50:46] Speaker A: And dude, 30, 31 were rough years. I did not enjoy those, that's for sure. [00:50:53] Speaker B: I got married at 33, so, yeah, we're still kind of like working through that. But 39 was rough. 27 was great. The world was. Was fine. It was like 20. What time? When was that? 2017, 2016. Except for, you know, politics wise, that was like before that happened. And then life took a real big turn down. [00:51:14] Speaker A: It's crazy how that. Yeah, it's kind of lining up for sure that he's ruined the world. So just saying, no big deal. [00:51:22] Speaker B: I ruined the world. The world will survive. But he sucks. [00:51:27] Speaker A: Yeah, literally. Anywho, [00:51:32] Speaker B: going to Bali with Vince and Sam, like, I just really want that to happen in my life before I die. [00:51:37] Speaker A: It's gonna happen. I believe in us. We're gonna do it. [00:51:40] Speaker B: I think that could happen. Do you think they'd be excited to be invited on the podcast in real time? Because they're both like regular listeners. [00:51:48] Speaker A: If we don't get the text message immediately following this, I'm gonna be very upset. [00:51:53] Speaker B: Okay. I'll let you be responsible for that. [00:51:55] Speaker A: That. Okay. [00:51:57] Speaker B: That's all I have. [00:51:58] Speaker A: Me too. [00:51:59] Speaker B: Welcome to regularly scheduled candidly nonsense. [00:52:04] Speaker A: And we're back, baby. We're back. [00:52:06] Speaker B: We're back. [00:52:08] Speaker A: No gratitudes and grievances from us this week. Actually, one little slight grievance. And it just. I thought of it on the way home. You know how, like, trends come and go and like, things go in and out of style. You know what never goes out of style that I've noticed of like, like teens or preteens and teens is a freaking gothic style. I saw these girls crossing the street. Could not be wearing bigger pants. [00:52:31] Speaker B: Oh, what? Oh, my God. [00:52:33] Speaker A: What was your favorite? [00:52:34] Speaker B: Seeing the stuff about Kim Kardashian's daughter. What's her name? Northwest. [00:52:40] Speaker A: No. [00:52:40] Speaker B: And like, what she wears as a 14 year old. [00:52:43] Speaker A: Oh, I'm. [00:52:44] Speaker B: I'm not gonna comment on it because, like, I definitely went through, like, a weird phase. And. And we all do that when we're 14 and we live in, you know, houses that may or may not be functional. I don't want to make any assumptions. And like, I had a really nice childhood, so it's not a comment on my parents. But like, you should go look on TikTok and see the comments about Northwest's and her. Her outfits as a 14 year old. But also, like, if you're Kim Kardashian's daughter, aren't you predispositioned to, like, scandalize on some degree? Like, that's their whole brand is to be scandalicious, which is great. Like, go live your life. But this is a 14 year old Kanye West, Kim Kardashian child who has a lot of already scrupulous people or unscrupulous people who probably want to take advantage of her. And you don't really see her as a human. So I just feel for her. But it's. People are just. People have got comments. People always have comments. They always got something to say. [00:53:44] Speaker A: Any hoo. [00:53:45] Speaker B: When her hair does like the blue. She had like those blue dreads. They looked dope. As she looks so cool. Anyway. [00:53:52] Speaker A: All right, well, anyways, just saying that the gothic style has not gone out of style. That's all I'm saying. No, and everybody wants to dress like [00:54:00] Speaker B: it's 1999, with, like, the punk look and, like, the chipped black nail polish, and it's just not. I don't know. Feels like you didn't really earn it. [00:54:09] Speaker A: Yeah, it's not that cute. It's not cute. It has never been cute, and it's still not cute. So I'm just. [00:54:16] Speaker B: You didn't go through a goth face? [00:54:17] Speaker A: No. [00:54:18] Speaker B: Why would I do that? [00:54:20] Speaker A: Why would I ever do that? No way. No. Oh, my God phase. [00:54:25] Speaker B: I could see you in a goth phase. [00:54:27] Speaker A: You did not have, like, the chain [00:54:28] Speaker B: with your wallet, and I absolutely had a chain and a leather wallet with, like, blue flames on it. I absolutely had that. [00:54:36] Speaker A: Oh, my God. I'm, like, horrified now. I cannot. [00:54:39] Speaker B: Don't be horrified. [00:54:40] Speaker A: Okay. Anyways, that is the end of this episode for sure. [00:54:47] Speaker B: We love you all so much. [00:54:48] Speaker A: Just go to Kpler and her goth era. Just saying. [00:54:51] Speaker B: Okay. Love you all. [00:54:54] Speaker A: Thanks for being candid. [00:54:55] Speaker B: Bye. [00:54:56] Speaker A: Bye.
